The wing wheel is intended for retrofitting on aircraft. This protects the wing wheel arches from mechanical impact and replaces metal and plastic slip spurs. Thus, worn and broken wing wheels can be replaced and/or modernized very quickly. Due to the aerodynamic shape, improvements can also be installed in this respect. The specially designed rim, with its dedicated tread, is suitable for all surfaces and is designed to withstand high abrasion.

These surface wheels are suitable for single-seaters such as Schleicher Ka-6 up to 15m, which still require an axle angle of 10 degrees due to the wing height on the fuselage.
